Entering Guandong

In the mid-19th century, the ancient land of China was still under the rule of the Qing government. In response to Tsarist Russia's encroachment on our country, the imperial court revoked the ban policy that had been implemented in the Northeast for nearly two hundred years and encouraged people in the pass to go to the Northeast to reclaim wasteland. Shandong native Zhu Kaishan (played by Li Youbin) is one of these early pioneers. When he left the customs, the Qing Dynasty had already come to an end.
