The Lodger

The story takes place in a dilapidated old apartment. A girl named Jenny (Isabelle Huppert) moved in opposite the door of the young Charlie (Jules Benchetrit). Huppert)'s new neighbor, Jenny, was once a smash hit actress but is now a has-been. Charlie decides to help Jenny get a role that is very important to Jenny. One day, an astronaut named John (Michael Pitt) accidentally landed on the roof of the apartment due to an error in orbit calculation. He knocked on the door of the home of Hamida (Tassadit Mandi), an old man living alone, and began a wonderful three-day cohabitation life with the old man. A lonely man named Berkowitz (played by Gustave de Kervern) got into a wheelchair due to an accident. While out shopping, he met a female nurse (played by Valeria Bruni Tedeschi) who was smoking and taking a break. Berkowitz lied that he was a photographer who traveled around the world and wanted to take a photo of the nurse.
