Lilia Forever

On the streets of Moscow, the young girl Lilia (played by Oksana Akinshina) is bragging to her friends that she will immigrate to the United States with her mother. But after arriving home, her mother told her to stay and live with her aunt. The aunt took the opportunity to occupy her house and drove her to live in a dirty and dilapidated apartment. Lilia's fairy tale fantasy collapsed instantly, and she finally believed that she had been abandoned by her mother. The lonely and helpless Lilia can only get a glimmer of comfort from her only friend, the boy Volodya (Artyom Bogucharsky). In order to survive, Lilia was also forced to embark on the road of selling her body to make a living. When the kind and innocent Lilia thought she had met true love, she went to Sweden desperately. But how could she know that this hellish life had just begun... Child star Osana Akinshina was nominated for the Best Actress at the 2002 European Film Awards for this role.
