Shirley Valentine

This film tells the story of Sally Valentine who was very rebellious in middle school and was a problem in the eyes of her teachers and classmates. But after marriage, her ordinary and rigid married life transformed her into a housewife who talks to herself in front of the kitchen wall all day long. She once asked herself: Will she live like a pool of stagnant water for the rest of her life? As a result, a trip to Greece changed her life and allowed her to regain the self she had lost for many years. The film implies that as long as married middle-aged women have determination and a little opportunity, it is still possible to have a second spring in their ordinary lives.
