Shirley

The film is adapted from Susan Scarfe Merrell's novel and is set in the 1960s. It tells the story of a young couple (played by Lerman and Young) who move to live with American gothic thriller novelist Shirley Jackson (played by Moss) and her husband (played by Stuhlbarg). They are therefore involved in a psychological thriller, which also provides material for Jackson's next novel.
