Puberty

"Puberty" tells a story about youth, dreams, and the inevitable and accidental events of life from the perspective of two girls. The quiet and reserved girl Xi'er and Song Ning interpret a love that has been entangled for more than ten years. Enthusiasm, generosity, fantasy, despair, all these traditional qualities of youth--all qualities except youth--are born and destroyed with us. These feelings are an integral part of life. But the tenderness of youth - that energetic laziness, that self-admiration - these belong only to youth and disappear with it.
