"Youth"

"Youth" is a biopic about the famous Italian poet and philosopher Giacomo Leparde. Leparde is played by Cannes best actor and Italian actor Elio Germano. Leparde was born in a small town in 1798 and is considered one of Italy's greatest poets, second only to Dante. Despite his humble beginnings, even his early works raised questions crucial to his time, they showed the influence of the Enlightenment and in many ways foreshadowed Nietzsche's nihilism. Leppard was a child prodigy who mastered many ancient and modern languages ​​very early. He wrote "Poetry" at the age of 20, but he died of illness at the age of 38. Schopenhauer called Leparde his "spiritual brother". Italians considered him one of the greatest wise men, and his ideas were praised as "surpassing every European writer from Goethe to Valery." But despite his many accolades, the 19th-century poet and philosopher remains little known in the mainstream English-speaking world. The film received moderate reviews from media critics.
