Operation Hurricane

After making his acting debut in "Hacksaw Ridge", Mel Gibson's son Milo Gibson once again joined the new World War II-themed film "Hurricane" to play the role of pilot Johnny Kent. Kent was a captain in the Canadian Air Force. He led a Hawker Hurricane fighter squadron numbered 303 during the Battle of Britain (a large-scale air battle launched by Nazi Germany against Britain during World War II, and was also the largest air battle in World War II). It fought hard to resist the Nazi invasion. Kent shot down 13 enemy aircraft alone and served in the Royal Air Force from 1935 to 1956. He was considered the most outstanding young Royal Air Force squadron leader. David Blair ("Burt and Dickie" and "The Perfect Plan") will direct the film, with Stephanie Martini and "Game of Thrones" actor Iwan Rheon expected to serve as producers. Filming is scheduled to begin in the UK in September.
