Braying Donkey

Io initially stayed in a traveling circus, which was his only home since childhood. Later, he was forced to leave and escaped again while trekking through the countryside on the border of Poland and Italy. He encountered both cruel and warm situations, and along the way, he observed the folly and triumph of human nature. During Io's journey, she is simultaneously helped and hindered by various characters, including a young Italian priest (Lorenzo Zuzolo), a countess (Isabelle Huppert) and the raucous Polish football team.
