The Gate of Hell

In the movie, the male protagonist played by Wu Diwen deals with the Japanese army and the police in order to save his dying lover, but he has almost no chance to face the heroine Xu Qiwen who is trapped in the morgue and whose life or death is uncertain. The few scenes the two had with each other were all rushed and separated immediately. Only at the end of the movie did the hero and heroine get the opportunity to express their feelings to each other. So can Wu Diwen seize this last chance to save the heroine from the fire and water?
