"Rebel in the Rye" is adapted from the biography "JD Salinger A Life" written by Kenneth Slawenski, and is written and directed by Danny Strong. However, Salinger himself was very low-key and mysterious. He only wrote this novel in his life. After becoming famous, he bought more than 90 acres of land near a riverside hill in rural New Hampshire, built a cabin on the top of the mountain, and lived a secluded life. Died at his home in New Hampshire on January 27, 2010, at the age of 91.
