Love in the Yellow River

In the late stages of World War II, Allied pilot Irving (Paul Kersey was forced to land at the foot of the Great Wall when his plane was hit by a Japanese warship. When his life was in danger, he was rescued by the Eighth Route Army and local people. Soon, the soldier Heizi (Wang Xinjun) and the female military doctor Anjie (Ning Jing) who knew English were ordered to escort him to the base area. In order to cross the Yellow River, Heizi first took Owen and Anjie to sneak back to his hometown, but they almost died after many twists and turns. Through his communication with Anjie, Owen gained a deeper understanding of China, and he gradually fell in love with the beautiful, intelligent, and strong Anjie. The Yellow River was right in front of them, and just when they thought they could cross it smoothly, the Japanese army suddenly attacked them frantically.
