Black Box

The story takes place in an ordinary northern family. The male protagonist Yang Baokun is the son of factory director Yang Fugui. In adolescence, like other children, he smokes, drinks, and idles around every day. He falls in love with Ma Lan, who likes to dance, and dreams of having a motorcycle to take Ma Lan home. At the same time, Yang Baokun's mother and Yang Baokun's sister accidentally catch Yang Fugui in bed with a female factory worker, Zhao Yanhong, and Yang Fugui's factory is in crisis. How should Yang Baokun choose his own life? How will Baokun's mother, a housewife, treat her family and love? How will Yang Fugui handle the relationship between his lover and his wife? This series of questions revolves around how this real and ordinary family should ultimately make a choice.
