Dark Ages

The wizard Merlin (played by Nicol Williamson) gave King Arthur (Nigel Terry) Before his death, King Arthur inserted the sword into a boulder. He made a will that if anyone could pull the sword out of the stone, he would be eligible to become the King of England. Several years passed in the blink of an eye, and King Arthur's illegitimate son stood in front of the boulder. He naturally drew the sword and inherited the throne, becoming the new generation of King Arthur. After that, he married a woman named Quinnifer (played by Cherie Lunghi) as his wife, and founded the Knights of the Round Table organization, ushering in the most glorious era in history. However, the good times did not last long, and Queenifer fell in love with Lancelot, the knight of the Round Table (Nicholas Clay). At the same time, a scandal broke out in the family and put the king's rule in jeopardy.
