The Black Death

In 1348, the Black Death spread across Europe, leaving corpses strewn across the fields and starvation in the streets. In this dark age when everyone is in danger, the young English missionary Osman (Eddie Redmayne) still tries to stick to his beliefs and posts. At this time, knight Orlick (played by Sean Bean) led his men to the church where Osman was located. The reason was that the bishop heard that no one in a village near Danwitz Forest was infected with the plague, so he sent Orlick to find out the situation. Because the village was close to Osman's hometown where he grew up, he volunteered to be Orlick's guide. In fact, Orlick had other intentions during his trip. Legend has it that the people in that village turned their backs on God, believed in cults, held strange rituals, and even brought the dead back to the world. Orlick's goal is to capture the leader. There are constant crises along the way, but they don't know that a greater test is still waiting for them...
