Black Bread

The Spanish Civil War has just ended, during the difficult period of post-war trauma. In the Catalan countryside, a boy belonging to the failed camp, Andrew (Francesco Colomer), discovers the bodies of a father and son in the jungle. However, the authorities actually put the charge on Andrew's father Farrior (Roger Casamajor), making him an innocent scapegoat. Andrew decided to act alone to find the real murderer of the father and son and reveal the truth. Along the way, Andrew traced the various conspiracies and lies in the adult world, allowing young Andrew to see this twisted world clearly. In order to survive, Andrew had to betray his own race, and he gradually became aware of the terrible demon that had been hidden deep in his heart for a long time. The film "Black Bread" directed and written by the famous Spanish director Agustin Villaroga swept many awards at the 25th Spanish Goya Awards in 2011, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Adapted Screenplay.
