Bridge 1969

In 1944, the German army deployed heavy troops to guard a bridge in Yugoslavia. SS Colonel Dr. Hoffmann made every effort to prevent the Yugoslav guerrillas from attacking. At the same time, the guerrilla major "Tiger" (Velimir 'Bata' Zivojinovic) received an order from his superiors: In order to prevent the German troops from converging, a bridge construction engineer must be found within seven days to blow up the bridge. Tiger formed an action team with his old comrade-demolition expert Zavadoni (Boris Dvornik) and his assistant Bambino, the taciturn soldier Dixi, and the guerrilla Manner who had participated in the construction of the bridge. Tiger rescued the engineer from the Gestapo and had a fierce battle with the German escort troops as he approached the bridge. Some guerrillas and liaison officers died, but new forces were also added. After cracking the German spy infiltration, the guerrillas finally blew up the bridge.
