The Great Storm of Normandy

This film records the intensive preparations of the Allied forces 90 days before the Normandy landing. It also depicts how Eisenhower, the supreme commander of the burst attack, the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe, faced many disagreements and extremely difficult circumstances, and how he eliminated various unfavorable factors, commanded decisively, and finally achieved victory. This battle also made him famous all over the world and recorded in history. A 2004 American TV movie directed by Robert Harmon, starring veteran movie star Tom Selleck ("Three Dads and a Baby"). He performed well in the film. The film does not pursue large-scale action, but focuses the camera on the headquarters of both sides of the battle, and depicts the characters in detail. It can be regarded as a masterpiece of World War II movies.
