Chen Baozhu's last film before bidding farewell to the film industry. In the late 1960s, Chu Yuan also filmed a series of fashion-robber romance films for Bao Zhu. This film also follows this pattern, but the era has changed to the early Republic of China, and the protagonist has changed from Bao Zhu to Yue Hua, which is like a variation of the character in "The Drunken Man".
