Ten thousand years ago in the Americas, the Akani civilization was prevalent. The Akani believed that the world was divided into two worlds, light and dark, and that there was a door to communicate with each other. There are records that Akani once opened a door between the two worlds, allowing some monsters to wreak havoc in the world, and then Akani mysteriously died. In the 1960s, the government established Bureau 713, a paranormal research department, and appointed Dr. Lionel Huggins (Matthew Walker) to study the Akani civilization, but his research was later overturned. Huggins hides on an island and conducts cruel secret experiments on children, making them merge with monsters. At the beginning of the 21st century, cases of missing children occurred one after another in various places. Paranormal investigator Edward Kirby (played by Christian Slater) was ordered to go to the island to investigate. However, he was attacked by mysterious people just after he left the airport. All this destined his journey to be extremely difficult and dangerous...
