The Ring of the Nibelung

It is adapted from the German folk poetry "Niebelungenlied" and the Nordic "Legend of Volsung". Blacksmith Siegfried (played by Benno Fürmann) met and fell in love with Queen Birrenhild (played by Christina Ricci) of Iceland after a meteorite crashed. He then killed the evil dragon and bathed in its blood to make himself invulnerable. But a leaf-covered area on his back that was not stained with dragon blood became his weakness. Siegfried was appreciated by the king for killing the dragon and wanted to marry his princess sister Alicia Witt (played by Alicia Witt) to him, but Siegfried already had his heart. In order to achieve this goal, the king added medicine to the wine to make him forget that the queen fell in love with the princess. The king asked him to help Queen Brunhil of Iceland, so he put on a deformed helmet and pretended to be the king and defeated Brunhil. Brunhil was heartbroken by his "betrayal" and was forced to marry the king. Two newlyweds, each with their own concerns, got married on the same day. Will Siegfried finally remember the Queen? What will be the fate of the four of them facing each other?
