Billionaire Mr. Fan (Michael Douglas) receives a gift from his brother (Sean Penn) on his forty-eighth birthday, a game card for the CRS Club. The content of the game is tailor-made for Michael, pointing directly to his childhood shadow and marital trauma deep in his heart. Out of curiosity, Michael gradually became involved in the game, and thus met the waitress Christine (Deborah Kara Unger). But after all kinds of pranks, Michael discovered that this series of bizarre events was not a simple game, and his life was being dragged into the abyss.
