Rescue 2

Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role as Tyler Rake in "The Rescue 2," the sequel to Netflix's action blockbuster "Rescue." After narrowly escaping the first film's cliffhanger, Lake is back with a vengeance. As an Australian black market mercenary, Lake takes on another deadly mission: to rescue a family from prison who were brutally abused by Georgian gangsters. Hemsworth reunites with director Sam Hargrave, with Joe and Anthony Russo's AGBO producing and Joe Russo serving as screenwriter. Gashfi Farahani will reprise his role from the first film, and Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Burkhart and Tinadine Darazishvili will also star. The film is a sequel to the first film and is based on the graphic novel "Ciudad" by Ender Parks, with a story written by Ender Parks, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, and illustrations by Fernando Leon Gonzalez.
