Fang Shiyu and Hong Xiguan

The Qing soldiers burned Shaolin and suffered heavy casualties in the temple. Although Hong Xiguan (played by Chen Guantai) survived but was seriously injured, he decided to temporarily lay down his activities until he could make a comeback one day, but he was repeatedly chased by officers and soldiers on the way to escape. One day, Hong Xiguan was dealing with the officers and soldiers who were chasing him and got into a fierce battle. By chance, Fang Shiyu (played by Fu Sheng) passed by. Fang Shiyu mistakenly thought that Hong Xiguan was a criminal, so he helped the officers and soldiers kidnap him and hand him over to the government. Later, Fang Shiyu learned that this person was the famous Hong Xiguan, and he had become an accomplice of the court villain. Fang Shiyu, who was full of regret, teamed up with a group of martial arts heroes, and the group began to study a strategy to rescue Hong Xiguan.
