Captain Picard immediately led the Enterprise to the rescue after learning that Lieutenant Data had been taken hostage on the planet Baku. When they came to the Baku planet, there were only 600 Baku people living on the entire planet. They were isolated from the world, abandoned technology, advocated peace, and lived a simple life. The abduction of Encyclopedia was not like the Baku people's style, and there must be something hidden. Captain Picard met a Baku woman named Annie, and learned through her that although the Baku people looked young, the original inhabitants of the planet were actually over three hundred years old.
