Baekdu Mountain

Lee Byung-hun, Ha Jung-woo, and Ma Dong-seok have confirmed their participation in the new film "Changbai Mountain" (백두산, tentative translation), and are currently adjusting the details of the film. The film will be directed by Lee Hae-huai ("Kim's Drifting") and Kim Byung-seo. The film tells the story of the Changbai Mountain volcano erupting soon and people from all sides resisting the disaster. Lee Byung-hun plays the role of a North Korean personnel who prevents the eruption of the volcano, while Ha Jung-woo becomes a South Korean official and works together with Lee Byung-hun's character to fight. Ma Dongxi plays a scientist. It is reported that approximately 20 billion won will be invested in the film and filming will begin early next year.
