Centurion

In the year 117 AD, the Roman Empire continued to expand. But in northern Britain, expansion was blocked by the local barbarians, the Picts. Centurion Quintus (Michael Fassbender) survived a Pictish attack and was appointed to lead the Ninth Legion, the victorious legion of the Roman legions, to annihilate the Picts. However, the Ninth Army was ambushed by the Picts, and the army commander General Verius (Dominic West) was captured. Quintus fought desperately against the enemy and escaped with some of his men.
