Red Peony Gambler

In the middle of the Meiji period, the leader of the Yano group of the Kyushu gambler gang was assassinated. His only daughter Ryuko (played by Junko Fuji) disbanded the gang and searched for the murderer using the wallet left next to her father's body as a clue. Ryuko carried the Kodachi and traveled to casinos across the country for five years, earning the nickname "Red Peony Aaron" for his outstanding gambling skills. At a casino in Iwakuni, Ryuko exposes the banker's cheating methods and causes a dispute. Fortunately, the wandering gambler Katagiri (played by Takakura Ken) comes to help. After breaking up with Katagiri, Ryuko learned about the whereabouts of Shin, who had seen the killer's appearance, and set out to find him. Later, he became brother and sister with Kokichi (played by Tomisaburo Wakayama), the leader of the Bear and Tiger Group. Recommended by Xiong Hu, Ryuko and Axin went to visit Kagurai (Oki Minoru), the second generation leader of the Sense family in Osaka, but accidentally learned the truth...
