Barry (Tom Cruise) is a pilot affiliated with American Airlines. After being squeezed by the company for a long time, he was recruited by CIA agent Monty (Domhnall Gleeson). Monty sent Barry to South America on a secret mission. One day, the big drug lord Pablo found Barry and ordered Barry to transport drugs to the United States for him. Due to his identity and the mission he shouldered, Barry had to submit. When Barry's drug trafficking behavior was exposed, Monty stepped forward to protect the agent and sent him and his wife Lucy (Sarah Wright) to a remote town in Arkansas for protection. Barry's business grew bigger and bigger. Not only did he continue to transport drugs, he even started a business of selling arms.
