Director Joko Anwar, who once ranked the highest-grossing ghost film in Indonesian film history with "The Ghost", the new action movie "Gandara" will not let Marvel and DC excel before, and decided to bring Indonesia's classic comic "Gandara" which has been published for half a century to the big screen. Gundala not only has the appearance of The Flash, the power of Thor, the leadership qualities of Captain America, and the left-wing spirit of V, but also has the fierce movements and dazzling visual effects comparable to Ip Man. It was shortlisted for nine awards in the Chitra Film Awards, which is considered Indonesia's Oscar.
