Galen (played by Kim Basinger) is a very skilled thief who was imprisoned after being framed by George Man (played by Gailard Sartain). After being released on bail, Galen decided to wash her hands of herself and never dared to do anything illegal again. She just wanted to spend the rest of her life with her son in peace. However, Galen's criminal record kept her in trouble when looking for a job, and soon her life fell into a financial crisis. At this juncture, a thief named Jerry (played by Val Kilmer) found Galen and wanted to ask her to come back to the world. Unexpectedly, Galen's boss turned out to be George Mann. In order to blackmail Galen, he did not hesitate to kidnap Galen's son. In order to protect his son, Galen had to submit.
