Three Bride and One Dad

After the death of his wife four years ago, family education columnist Dan Burns (played by Steve Carell) independently raised and educated his three daughters. Although he specializes in solving problems for parents, he is helpless when faced with his own depressed and closed real life and the problems of his children's growth. In order to alleviate the crisis in his life, Dan took his family back to his hometown, hoping to find a new direction in life. Unexpectedly, things go against his wishes, and his nagging parents and mocking relatives make him even more depressed; and the chance meeting of Marie (Juliette Binoche) in a bookstore makes him see the sunshine again; but unexpectedly, Marie turns out to be the girlfriend of his younger brother Mickey (Dane Cook)... Dan, who is unsatisfied with family and love, will he choose to compromise in life, or will he have the courage to break through obstacles and pursue a better future?
