Five Days

In 1848, in Milan during the Italian War of Independence, a thief Cainazzo (Adriano Celentano ) took advantage of the war to escape from prison and met the young and naive baker Romolo (Enzo Cerrusico). The two wandered the streets of Milan enduring hunger and witnessed a series of historical events such as the Austrian invasion and the resistance of the nobles, and were absurdly forced to get involved in this war. They experienced funny love, suffered unfortunate betrayal, and even drew swords to help each other righteously. The two gradually became close friends and witnessed the hypocrisy and insensitivity of the upper class. At this moment, they encountered the ruthless blow of the war... This film is the only non-horror-themed film by the Italian horror film master Dario Argento.
