Goodbye, old times

In 1918, Czechoslavia was established. This was the first time that the Czech people had their own motherland. Eli Manzo draws on ancient metaphors and present-day metaphors to weave this charming bedroom comedy with a nouveau riche who comes from a humble background and is eager to join the upper class, a romantic duke who always makes women swoon, a group of ordinary people who are obsessed with profit, and young men and women who are passionately in love. Has a new era dawned, or have the good old days ceased to exist? In the same year that Manzo completed the film, the "Velvet Revolution" also occurred in the Czech Republic.
