Three college friends Brenda (played by Bette Midler), Ellis (played by Goldie Hawn), and Anne (played by Diane Keaton) went their separate ways after leaving college. But their marriages were similar in that their respective husbands fell in love with other women. Although they all devoted their youth to their husbands and helped them achieve fame and fortune, they were inevitably abandoned by their husbands and became abandoned wives. The three former friends have become each other's confidants, and it is inevitable that they feel sympathy for each other. And they even made an important decision. Together, they wanted to take revenge on their ruthless husbands and formed a "pre-club" in order to successfully implement their plan...
