Jack is a 3-year-old chimpanzee. He is the subject of a university research project and learns how to communicate with humans. Dr. Kendo, who was in charge of the project, died suddenly. Jack was sold to a medical research institution by Dr. Dean to engage in biological experiments. The workers in the laboratory secretly let Jack go because they sympathized with him and sent him on a train bound for his hometown. The confused Jack actually overslept and arrived in the ice and snow of Canada. Fortunately, Jack met the friendly hearing-impaired girl Tyra and her brother Steve. Jack learned to skate under Tyra's guidance. He was discovered by the team coach and was shocked. Jack joined the team. With his outstanding performance, the team won the National League and the gold medal was in sight. At the critical moment, Dean suddenly appears and takes away Jack.
