Kobe (Kuranosuke Sasaki) who has always dreamed of becoming a writer ) and foodie Yuko (Hiromi Nagasaku) have been friends for seventeen years. This film is adapted from "Diary of a Cancer Couple" serialized by writer Koji Shimizu under the pseudonym "Kawasaki Couple" on the blog (ameblo). Shimizu's wife passed away in July 2010.
