Wedding Season

Suraj Sharma and Pallavi Sharda ([Tom and Jerry]) will star in the new Netflix comedy film [Wedding Season] (tentative translation). Directed by Tom Dey ([Marmaduke, The Great Dane]) and written by Shiwani Srivastava. The story tells the story of Asha Maurya (played by Sharda), who is unable to escape the pressure of her immigrant parents to get married, and she teams up with a bachelor, Ravi Shah (played by Sharda), to get their South Asian family out of trouble. The two spend the summer wedding season pretending to date, and eventually find themselves falling in love with each other. The film will start shooting in Toronto in April.
