Nian Beast

The new year in Hujiazhuang is fading, and the cold and heat are abnormal. Luo Chuan, a young lion dancer, is full of energy and whimsical dreams. He dreams of carrying forward his lion dance skills, but he often makes mistakes. He is seen by the villagers as a "broom star" and a "dangerous element" in the eyes of the village chief Hu Changli. The Nian beast Xiaowu unexpectedly came to the world, caused havoc in the village, and took away the family heirloom - the lion's head. In order to retrieve the lion's head, Luo Chuan met Axi, a rat fairy who went down to earth to catch the Nian beast. The two gradually discovered that the Nian beast was not scary and could be friends with humans. However, Hu Changli loved the village so much that he was bewitched by the spirit-eating demon and escaped into madness, creating a conspiracy against the Nian beast. In the end, Luo Chuan and Axi united the villagers, defeated the spirit-eating demon and awakened Hu Changli. The Hujiazhuang returned to liveliness, and everyone happily welcomed the arrival of the Spring Festival.
