The Breakfast Club

This film is produced by John. Hughes and Morley. Ringwald collaborated again after "Girls" in a comedy about middle school students. It depicts five rebellious male and female classmates who are punished to stay in school to review their homework during the holidays. The five people have different family backgrounds and personalities, but after their sincere conversations, they gradually let go of each other's wariness and hostility and became like-minded friends. The whole film has a very in-depth and detailed description of the mentality of young people. The technique is light, humorous and inspiring, which can easily resonate with young audiences. A group of rookie actors also gave appropriate performances.
