Curveball

Arndt Wolff, a biological weapons expert at the German Federal Intelligence Service, believes that despite strict United Nations controls, Iraq is still producing anthrax as a weapon. Those around him had long since given up on the topic, but that suddenly changed when an Iraqi asylum seeker claimed he had been involved in the creation of Saddam Hussein's biological weapons. His testimony played into the hands of authorities of all parties, and the U.S. federal government and the CIA tried to take advantage of the opportunity to take action. Wolf was appointed by the FBI as the head of the case to investigate whether the whistleblower code-named "Curveball" was true. At the same time, the 911 attacks put the United States on the brink of crisis, and security around the world was also in jeopardy... This film is a political satire film adapted from real events that occurred before the 2003 Iraq War. It had its world premiere in the special screening section of the 70th Berlin Film Festival.
