The War of the Roses

Lawyer Garvey (Danny DeVito) is telling a story of the "War of the Roses" to a young man who wants a divorce in his office: Oliver (Michael Douglas) and his wife Barbara (Kathleen Turner) met at an auction, and the two soon got married and had children. As a lawyer, Oliver is busy with his work all day long. Barbara, a former gymnast, is obsessed with the life of raising a husband and raising children. The family leads a life that is the envy of all their friends. After they realized all their dreams for a family (living in a mansion, having their children go to college, and having a house full of antiques and collectibles), Barbara began to run a catering company with great success. However, at this time, problems arose in their relationship, which eventually led to divorce.
