True Confessions 1937

Helen (Carole Lombard) has a beautiful appearance and a kind personality, but her only flaw is that she likes to lie. Kenneth (Fred MacMurray) is Helen's husband and a lawyer. Just the opposite of Helen, Kenneth is a very practical man and will never defend someone who tells lies. In order to support the family, Helen secretly found a job as a secretary without telling Kenneth. Little did she know that her employer was a pervert. After he tried to do evil to Helen, Helen beat him. Unexpectedly, news of his death came the next day. Unfortunately, Helen became the biggest suspect and was arrested. Kenneth decided to defend his wife, but when faced with her husband's questioning, Helen began to tell uncontrollable lies again.
