Race Against Time 1992

The story takes place in London in 2008. Global warming has caused sea levels to rise, and parts of the land have been flooded from time to time, leaving a dilapidated and desolate scene everywhere. Detective Stone (Rutger Hauer) was fired from the police department because of his excessive handling of cases, but even after taking off his gun and police uniform, Stone still persevered in pursuing the serial murder cases that he failed to solve during his tenure. One day, a new murder case occurred in the city. The victim was disemboweled by the murderer, and his death was very horrific. The murderer's method immediately reminded Stone of previous cases, and he firmly believed that these cases were committed by the same person. Not long after, the police received a horrific package, which contained the gnawed heart of the deceased. Judging from the tooth marks, the perpetrator was not human.
