Lucy (Demi Moore) is the arrogant, egomaniacal CEO of Incredible Edibles, America's first company offering edible cutlery. Lucy uses her infinite wisdom to lead her staff, including long-suffering assistants, Freddy (Karan Soni) and Jesse (Jessica Williams), on a corporate team-building meltdown weekend in New Mexico. When disaster strikes, not even their useless guide, Brandon (Ed Helms), can save them. Trapped underground, this mismatched and disaffected group must band together to survive. Director Patrick Brice brings together an unlikely cast of characters, locks them in a cave, and lets them escape. What follows is a nightmarish study of human social interaction, all the while asking the question: What happens when people stop competing with each other and band together against their oppressors? Brice creatively weaves each character's arc into larger themes, playing out their humanity as they rebel against their animal nature as they fall victim to their nature. Twelve people are trapped in a cave, food is depleting, truths are revealed, betrayals and manipulations are revealed, alliances are formed - what?
