There is a legend among the people that if you hear someone calling your name while walking at night, you must answer after three calls, otherwise you will embark on the road of no return and never return to the world. There have been incidents of villagers disappearing one after another in the village, causing people to panic. Everyone thinks this is the work of ghosts. Cai Kang's (played by Zeng Shuai) father lives in this village. One day, he disappeared inexplicably. Cai Kang's sister seemed to be frightened and became delirious. The anxious Cai Kang decided to return to his hometown to find out. Cai Kang's mother was uncharacteristically opposed to her son's decision.
