Revenge 2008

Alex (Johannes Krisch) and Talma (Irina Potapenko) ) are a pair of hard-luck mandarin ducks from Ukraine. Talma sells her body, while Alex works as a laborer for the brothel owner. One day, they decide to secretly leave this dirty place to find a happy and bright future. The conscientious policeman Robert (played by Andreas Lust) and his wife Susanna (played by Ursula Strauss) live a comfortable middle-class life, but what troubles the couple is that they never have children of their own. A bank robbery inadvertently changed the fate of these four people... The film won two C.I.C.A.E. and European Film Awards at the 2008 Berlin International Film Festival.
