Seeking Justice

The film was originally titled "The Hungry Rabbit" and was completed as early as 2009, but has been delayed due to various reasons. Middle school teacher Will (Nicolas Cage) and his wife Laura (January Jones) live a stable and peaceful life. But everything changed after Laura was raped. Will knows nothing about the suspect, and the mysterious man Simon (Guy Pearce) suddenly appears, saying that he can take care of the suspect for free for Will, as long as he does a small favor in the future. The next day, the rapist was found committing suicide at home, and Will was shocked. Not long after, Will received instructions to complete a tracking task. After completing the mission, he thought that he would be able to live in peace in the future, but unexpectedly Simon asked him to push another suspect, Walchak, off the overpass and fake it as a suicide. Will refuses to execute, and Simon threatens Laura's life. Will had no choice but to agree, but Valchak unfortunately fell from the bridge and died during the fight with him. After Walczak's death, Will was arrested by the police and was shocked to learn that the deceased was newspaper reporter Alan. Will escaped from the police station and began to flee, also working hard to find the truth...
