History of Fear

Buenos Aires is experiencing a heat wave. A helicopter flies over an isolated residential area and issues an evacuation warning to the residents. At the same time, the local area is experiencing a series of subtle events: a young man in a fast food restaurant suddenly curls up into a mammal posture in an unnatural way, false alarms sound in the house for no reason, strangers occasionally burn garbage in the nearby woods, and a naked man pounces on a car at a toll booth... The film was shortlisted for the Berlin Film Festival's main competition and nominated for best debut film. (Xiao Yifu subtitle group)
