Acting for Heaven

Wesley (Powers Boothe) is a detective. Recently, he is investigating a vicious serial murder case called "The Hand of God", a man named Fenton (Matthew McConaughey) A mysterious man (played by Fenton) found Wesley and told him that he knew the ins and outs of the entire case. What shocked Wesley was that if the facts were true as Fenton said, then the murderer was none other than Fenton's younger brother Adam (Jeremy Sumpter) who had committed suicide. Wesley followed Fenton to Adam's grave, where Fenton told Wesley about his past with Adam. It turns out that all events originated from the two brothers' father, Max (played by Bill Paxton). He told the two brothers that he had met an angel. The angel gave him a list of demons who had transformed into humans. What Max had to do was to kill them one by one. Adam believed his father's words to be true, but Fenton noticed the madness in them. The fate of the two people has since embarked on completely different paths.
